Those are the 4-day rates. Need it longer? We run 7, 14, 21 and 30-day rentals too, and extra days are $20 to $30 depending on the size. Go over the weight that comes with your can and it’s $59 a ton, same rate on every size.

Concrete, brick, dirt, rock and other clean heavy fill go in a dedicated low-side box. That’s $450, with the weight quoted per project, because heavy loads price by what’s actually in them. Don’t put that material in a standard can. You’ll bury it before it’s a third full.

What You Throw In Is What Moves the Bill

Every size on the grid comes with tonnage included. The 10-yard comes with 2,000 lbs. The 40-yard comes with 10,000 lbs. Go past what your can includes and it’s $59 per ton, the same rate on every size, small or large. No sliding scale, no surprise line item.

So the material matters as much as the size of the pile. A can loaded with shingles, tile or old mortar hits its weight ceiling before it ever looks full. Cabinets, carpet, fencing and furniture go the other way, and fill the box long before they get heavy.

Where the Can Sits, and What Lindale Requires

There is no bulk-waste pickup. The City of Lindale does not offer a curbside bulk-waste or large-item collection. No truck comes for the couch. Bulk disposal in Lindale is a haul-it-yourself arrangement.

What you get instead is a landfill allowance. Once a month, City of Lindale customers are able to take one 3-yard load, which the city describes as about the size of a regular pickup truck bed, to Greenwood Farms Landfill in Tyler. Any excess yardage is charged the current landfill gate rate, per yard.

The conditions are strict, so read them before you load. You bring an original residential water bill. Copies are not accepted, nor are receipts of payment, and no late red bill is accepted. The bill can’t be more than 45 days old from the date it was mailed to you. Residential bills only, no commercial. And the name or address on your ID has to match the name or address on the water bill.

Where That Free Load Runs Out

Greenwood Farms Landfill is at 12920 FM 2767 in Tyler, open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It’s a permitted Type I municipal solid waste landfill, TCEQ permit 1972A. The city’s own directions from Lindale: go south on Highway 69 to Loop 323 in Tyler and turn left, go around the loop, then turn left on FM 2767, Old Kilgore Highway, and go five miles.

Make that drive once a month with a pickup bed’s worth in the back and it costs you nothing but the fuel. Go use it. We’d be lying if we said otherwise.

The trouble starts the moment the pile is bigger than the truck. Then it’s the same drive again, and again, with the gate rate running per yard on everything over the free load and a gate that shuts at 4:30 on weekdays. And if your address is out in the county rather than on a City of Lindale water bill, the allowance is worth nothing to you at all.
