Looking for a 15-Yard or a 20-Yard? We don’t stock either one. The 13 and the 17 sit on both sides of a 15, and the 17 is usually the better buy — an extra foot of wall height costs $50. Looking for a 20? Our 21 covers it.

Those are the 4-day rates. Need it longer? We run 7, 14, 21 and 30-day rentals too, and extra days are $20 to $30 depending on the size. Go over the weight that comes with your can and it’s $59 a ton, same rate on every size.
Concrete, brick, dirt, rock and other clean heavy fill go in a dedicated low-side box. That’s $450, with the weight quoted per project, because heavy loads price by what’s actually in them. Don’t put that material in a standard can. You’ll bury it before it’s a third full.

What You Throw In Is What Moves the Bill
Greenwood Farms Landfill in Tyler is the City of Tyler’s landfill, and on TCEQ’s January 2026 list of active sites it is the only municipal solid waste landfill still operating in Smith County. It holds TCEQ permit 1972A as a Type I landfill, which means it is authorized to accept all types of municipal solid waste.
Density is what catches people out. Shingles, dirt, brick and concrete hit the weight line long before they fill the box. Cabinets, drywall and furniture fill the box long before they get heavy. Same footprint on your driveway, very different bill.
Every can includes weight: 2,000 lbs on the 10-yard up to 10,000 lbs on the 40-yard. Go over what came with your can and it is $59 a ton, the same rate on every size.

Where the Can Sits in Flint, and the One Rule That Applies
Tell us where you want it. Driveway, gravel pad, side yard, job site. That’s where the driver puts it.
Roll-off delivery needs a straight run and headroom, so before we show up: move the vehicles, unlock the gate, and tell us about low limbs, tight turns or a soft spot that went to mush in the last rain. If you’re protective of a nice driveway, lay boards where the wheels and rails will sit.
There is exactly one placement rule out here, and it is not a city rule, because Flint has no city. In July 2012 Smith County Commissioners Court adopted an order covering objects on county property and along county right-of-way: nothing gets erected or placed there unless state law expressly allows it. Road-project notices, authorized traffic signs and emergency signage are the carve-outs. A roll-off container is not one of them, and the order spells out what follows if you ignore it, up to confiscation by the sheriff or a constable.
So the box goes on private property. Driveway, pad or lot. Never on the shoulder or the verge of a county road. That is the whole of it.
The drive is our problem, not yours. You’re about 22 miles and a little over half an hour out, and we run US-69 south out of Tyler to FM 346, then west to FM 2493 and south into Flint. Flint is strung out along that road rather than gathered around a square, so some addresses sit a little closer and some a little farther.
Flint Is Unincorporated Smith County, All of It
Flint is not a city. It is an unincorporated community, and not even a census-designated place, so there is no city hall, no city council and no city phone number standing behind it. Every address here is Smith County, straight through.
That is simpler than it sounds. ZIP 75762 sits entirely inside Smith County with nothing spilling over into a neighboring county, so there is never a question about which set of rules your address falls under. Flint runs along FM 2493 on the east side of Lake Palestine, inside the Tyler metro area, and the county is the only authority that touches any of it.

Tearing Something Down in Flint?

There is no demolition permit to pull in Flint and no demolition fee to pay. There is no city to issue one, and Smith County’s own policy library states outright that other than subdivision regulations, the county has no local building policies for construction in unincorporated areas. So the paperwork is not the thing that sets your schedule. The container and the crew are.
Nobody in Flint Is Coming to Pick It Up
Sometimes the public option already covers it, and we would rather tell you that than take your money. In Flint there mostly isn’t one.
There is no curbside bulky-item collection here of any kind, because there is no municipality to run it. The only public substitute is a county program, and it is self-haul rather than curbside. The Smith Countywide Cleanup gives one voucher per Smith County resident, good for one free trip to Greenwood Farms Landfill. The 2026 window ran March 30 to May 1. The county says to check back in 2027 for the next cleanup, which it expects in April. Confirm dates with the county before relying on them.
Vouchers are handed out in person only, at counters around Smith County, and the closest one to a Flint address by a wide margin is the Precinct 2 JP/Constable office at 15405 Highway 155 South in Noonday. The voucher covers one mattress set; additional mattresses are $63 each at the landfill. Greenwood Farms is at 12920 Farm to Market Road 2767 in Tyler, about five miles east of Loop 323, open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 6:30 a.m. to noon, closed Sunday. If you can wait for the window and haul it yourself, go use it. It is free and it is yours. But it is one trip a year and you are the one driving it, which is a long way from a bathroom gut, a re-roof or a barn cleanout. That is where a container starts making sense. One Clean Load Might Be Cheaper at the Recycle Center
If what you have is one clean material rather than mixed debris, the Downtown Tyler Recycle Center at 418 N. Bois D’Arc Ave. in Tyler will probably beat a container. It is run by the City of Tyler and it is open to anyone in the East Texas region, not just people inside the city limits, so a Flint address qualifies. That is the part worth saying out loud.
Standard recyclables are a free self-service drop-off: cardboard broken down, plastics #1 through #5 rinsed, glass rinsed, plus cans, paper, scrap metal, motor oil, antifreeze and batteries. Some items carry a fee. Televisions and monitors are $5 residential and $8 commercial, refrigerators, AC units and microwaves are $5 each, and tires run $5 to $15 depending on size and whether the rim is still on. Furniture and mattresses carry a small fee. Bring cash, a check or a money order, because the center takes no credit or debit cards and no bills larger than $20. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to noon, closed Sunday.
What it will not take is the reason most people still need a can. In its own words it does not accept PVC pipe, Styrofoam, hardback books, paint or trash. A mixed cleanout, a re-roof or a demolition pile is not a recycling run. That is a container. Book one online or call (903) 833-3867.

Do I need a permit to put a dumpster at my place in Flint?
