Looking for a 15-Yard or a 20-Yard? We don’t stock either one. The 13 and the 17 sit on both sides of a 15, and the 17 is usually the better buy — an extra foot of wall height costs $50. Looking for a 20? Our 21 covers it.
Notice the footprints. The 13, 17 and 21 are all 14 x 7 on the ground. Same driveway space, different wall height. So the question isn’t whether the bigger one will fit. It’s how much you want to throw away.

2,000 lbs included. Single bath gut, fence tear-out, or any load heavy enough that a bigger box hits its weight ceiling before it fills.

3,000 lbs included. One-room remodel, cabinets and countertop out.
17 Yard
4,000 lbs included. Single-slope re-roof, larger one-room job. This is the box people mean when they ask for a 15.
21 Yard
5,000 lbs included. Whole-house flooring, kitchen down to studs, rental turnover.
30 Yard

Those are the 4-day rates. Need it longer? We run 7, 14, 21 and 30-day rentals too, and extra days are $20 to $30 depending on the size. Go over the weight that comes with your can and it’s $59 a ton, same rate on every size.
Concrete, brick, dirt, rock and other clean heavy fill go in a dedicated low-side box. That’s $450, with the weight quoted per project, because heavy loads price by what’s actually in them. Don’t put that material in a standard can. You’ll bury it before it’s a third full.

What You Throw In Is What Moves the Bill
Every can we run comes with weight included, and it’s printed on the grid above. 2,000 lbs on the 10-yard, 3,000 on the 13, 4,000 on the 17, 5,000 on the 21, 7,000 on the 30 and 10,000 on the 40. Go past your allowance and it’s $59 a ton, the same rate on every size. Nothing else is hiding in the number.
What you load decides whether weight or space runs out first. Shingles, plaster, tile, wet carpet and dirt get heavy in a hurry, and on those jobs the weight allowance is the number to watch, not the cubic yards. Framing lumber, cabinets, fencing and a garage full of household clear-out ride light, so you’ll run out of room before you run out of pounds. Concrete, brick, rock and clean fill don’t belong in a standard can at all. That’s what the $450 low-side box is for, and the weight on it gets quoted per project.

Where the Can Goes in Henderson

Henderson is the county seat of Rusk County, and the city puts its own area at 12 square miles. It sits centrally in the county, well away from any county line, so there’s none of the two-county address confusion you get elsewhere in East Texas. One county, one set of answers.
The disposal side is unusually simple here too. East Texas Regional Landfill is at 5155 FM 2867 E, inside Henderson, operated by Waste Connections under TCEQ permit 1249B. It’s a Type I municipal solid waste site, which TCEQ defines as authorized to accept all types of municipal solid waste, and the operator’s own accepted list covers construction debris, concrete and asphalt, treated lumber, yard waste and tree branches. Published gate hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays and all major holidays.
What that means for your job is short and useful: nothing has to leave the county. A Henderson load has one certain destination and it’s in town.

Budget the permit before anybody swings a hammer. The City of Henderson’s master fee schedule, as amended in April 2025, prices demolition of a building at $50 residential and $100 commercial, and the line item itself states that an asbestos report is required. That’s part of the permit, not an add-on you can skip. The same schedule lists a certificate of occupancy at $100 and a re-inspection fee at $35.
What Henderson Already Hauls Off for You
Sometimes the city already covers it, and we’d rather tell you that than take your money.
Henderson contracts residential collection to Republic Services. Per the city-posted Republic brochure effective January 1, 2021, Republic Services will provide bulk item curbside collection on Friday each week for all areas of the city, and collection will include up to two bulk items: sofas, mattresses, washing machines, old water heaters and the like. You call 903.986.5324 to schedule a pickup, and you leave your name, address, phone number and the type of items to be removed. On the yard side, leaves should be dry and securely bagged with a 20 bag limit per pickup day, and bundles should be securely tied and weigh no more than 35 lbs.
That brochure is a few years old now, so confirm the current terms at 903-986-5324 before you plan around it.

The County's Cheap Route, and Who Can't Use It
Rusk County runs six collection sites, and under the fee schedule its Commissioners’ Court amended on 3 April 2025 they are cheap. A small or regular truck is $12.00 not exceeding bed level, $20.00 exceeding bed level, and $25.00 plus $6.00 per cubic yard once the load stands 24 inches above the bed. Barrel dump is $2.00 each, barrel dump and disposal $4.00 each, and hot water heaters and appliances are no charge. Bags run $0.50 for kitchen size, $1.00 for 30-gallon and $1.50 for leaf size.
Now read the two lines that schedule prints in its own words. “Our locations are permitted only for household solid waste!” And: “NO COMMERCIAL WASTE WILL BE ACCEPTED.” The construction-material rates on that same schedule are marked household only.
So if you’re a Rusk County homeowner clearing a garage and it fits in a pickup, go use it. Genuinely. But if the load is coming off a job rather than out of your own house, or the pile is bigger than a few truckloads, that route is closed on its face and you’re back to a container on site.
